Why You Need an Online Course

By now most of us have taken an online class in some form. I have taken courses ranging from a simple printable PDF, to full course platforms. I love online classes because I live in the mountains and the opportunity to learn a new skill or transform my life can be done without a lengthy commute.
But why could adding an online course to supplement your business be an opportunity you don't want to miss? Perhaps it seems daunting, but consider how it could change your life:
1. THERE IS A HUGE MARKET FOR ONLINE COURSES
The e-Learning industry is expected to grow to $325 billion by 2025 (up from $107 billion
in 2015). This shows that the market is growing hugely for online courses.
2. LEVERAGE YOUR BUSINESS
Having a course allows you to move from working only one-to-one with clients to one to
many. This means that you can help many more people with the skills that you have.
3. CREATE CUSTOMERS FOR LIFE
The students of your your course will be potential clients for your other offers. They will
already "know, like and trust" you from taking your course. This will increase the likelihood
that they will want more of your future products
4. MAKE A BROADER IMPACT
By helping more clients, you are able to increase the impact your coaching has in the
world. An online course is a great way of helping many more people than you could reach
working one-to-one.
5. INCREASED INCOME FOR YOUR BUSINESS
If you have more to offer your potential clients, this will increase the likelihood of meeting their needs and budgets, while also increasing your revenue streams.
It gives you the opportunity to offer a product to potential customers that might not be ready, or willing to pay, for your coaching. It also provides resources for clients who want your services without having to travel to your location or don't want to wait until you have
calendar availability.
6. YOU CAN BECOME AN EXPERT
Creating online courses helps you to become an established expert in your field. You'll be
the person your audience goes to when they need information or your products and
services.
7. CREATE A COMPETITIVE EDGE
It's possible that none of your competitors are running online courses for their customers.
If they aren't, this puts you in a unique position. This gives you a tremendous competitive
advantage.
If your competitors are already offering online courses, it's even more essential that you
start doing so as well. Find your own approach to what you're teaching to set your course
apart.
